Victorian Optic Cranberry Glass Bowl, Hand Enameled, Aurora Silver Plate Stand
Very pretty Victorian cranberry glass bowl with hand painted heavy enamel floral design on an intricate silverplated stand. The glass is a lovely deep pink with a circular optic pattern. The stand was manufactured in Aurora, Illinois by the Aurora Silver Plate Manufacturing Company. The mark indicates manufacture from 1893-1899.
Condition:  No chips, cracks or repairs. Some of the gold highlights are worn. Silverplate has not been polished, wear to the plating not determined.
Marks:  Glass is unmarked. Stand is stamped Quadruple Plate, Aurora SPMfg. Co., Warranted, 790.
Dimensions:  Base: 5" high, 8" wide, 4" deep. Bowl: 2 1/2" high, 6 1/4" wide.
