Diamond Glass Co Glass Wall Vase Woodpecker Bird Set (2) Vintage Cobalt

Description

Up for auction a pair of vintage cobalt wall vase in the art nouveau woodpecker form by Diamond Glass Company.
The bird may or may not be a Woodpecker. The nice detail on the bird is complimented by a filler background and topped by a band of vertical bars. The flat backside is smooth, without a design.
The vases measure 8 3/16" high, about 2" across at the opening and combined weight is 1.1 pound prior to packing for shipping.
This pair is in good used vintage condition without cracks or repairs.  The back holes don't look like they have chips or flakes on the outside, but the interior looks rough.  I do see scratches and rubs on the opening edges, one vase has a small chip on the top seam edge, couple of straw marks on both, rubs and scratches on on the flat back, and the discoloration at the rim opening is chains of bubbles in the glass.
